Gulf Educator Certification Program (GECP) is a teacher alternative certification program approved by the Texas State Board of Educator Certification (SBEC) and is operated by Texas Gulf Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization committed to the professional development of public school teachers in the state of Texas in crucial fields such as pedagogical formation of teachers, communication skills, and curriculum development skills.
